On October 2, 2024, the Lebanese French University (LFU) organised an educational workshop titled “Improving Energy Efficiency and Promoting Clean Energy Solutions” to enhance community learning and environmental understanding among students, educators, and local organisations.
The event aimed to strengthen knowledge on sustainable energy practices and highlight the importance of integrating environmental awareness into education and daily life. Participants included faculty members, students from various colleges, representatives from local schools, and professionals from community and environmental organisations.
Presentations during the session covered topics such as energy efficiency, renewable energy systems, and the role of education in achieving sustainable development. Interactive group discussions encouraged participants to share ideas for implementing clean-energy principles in classrooms, workplaces, and community projects.
The workshop concluded with appreciation remarks from Dr Znar Ahmed, Manager of Lebanese French University, and Mr Hersh Kakl, University Engineer, who emphasised LFU’s continuous commitment to providing educational opportunities that promote sustainability, innovation, and environmental responsibility.
