Department of Medical Laboratory Science

The vision of the Medical Analysis is to be among the region’s premier small research and teaching Medical Laboratory Science programs for undergraduates. Also, DMLS envisions building the student’s personality from several aspects in an integrated manner to be a distinguished graduate of this department at all levels and has a scientific and professional ability which qualifies them for success in their career as Medical Laboratory Technicians to serve their communities.

The Department of Medical Analysis strives to build students as competent Medical Laboratory Science professionals, and serve as the workforce to solve the health issues of the local and regional community. Students are provided with a curriculum that addresses and meets the demands of the changing technology and practice in the profession. Graduates are often involved in administrative, educational, supervisory, or other leadership roles in the employment setting, and/or leadership positions in organizations. Therefore, students are empowered to become full participants in the university community through excellent instruction in language, cultural awareness, and study skills.
