The Lebanese French University (LFU) held a Food Awareness Campaign on September 29, 2024, to mark the International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste. The event, organized by the Directorate of Student Affairs, reflected LFU’s deep commitment to caring for the community and promoting responsible food consumption.
The campaign encouraged students and staff to think critically about food waste and its effects on society and the environment. Through informative displays, interactive discussions, and awareness activities, participants explored simple actions they can take to reduce waste, share food responsibly, and make sustainable choices every day.
This initiative demonstrates LFU’s dedication to building a compassionate, sustainable, and socially responsible campus where everyone contributes to positive change.
