On May 28–29, 2025, the Department of Medical Radiology Imaging at the College of Health Sciences organized a two-day workshop titled “Traumatic Radiology.”
The workshop aimed to provide both students and professionals with essential knowledge and practical skills in trauma-related imaging. It focused on understanding trauma anatomy, positioning techniques, and imaging procedures, while also enhancing participants’ ability to interpret radiographic images in emergency cases.
During the first day, participants were introduced to the fundamentals of trauma radiography, including trauma anatomy and pathology, imaging standards and procedures, and patient positioning techniques in emergency situations. The day concluded with an interactive Q&A session and wrap-up.
The second day began with a brief recap and continued with advanced discussions on trauma imaging in special populations, the role of CT scans in trauma cases, and key principles of image interpretation. Participants also engaged in real-world case studies, followed by a feedback session, certificate distribution, and closing remarks.
The workshop was led by Assistant Lecturer Banaz S. Haji from Lebanese French University, with support from Sarwar Kamaran, a Grade 2 Medical Radiology student at LFU, and Awara Ibrahim, a practicing radiographer and trainer.
The event was well attended by many professional radiographers, who actively participated alongside students. The Lebanese French University awarded certificates of participation to all attendees, recognizing their dedication to learning and professional development.
This workshop provided an enriching educational experience, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and clinical practice in the field of trauma radiology.

ئەم وۆرکشۆپەکە لەلایەن م.ی. بەناز شەهاب حاجی لە زانکۆی لوبنانی فەڕەنسی و سەروەر کامەران خوێندکاری پۆلی دووەمی تیشکی پزیشکی لە زانکۆی لوبنانی فەڕەنسی و ئاوارە ئیبراهیم ڕاهێنەر و ڕادیۆگرافەر بەڕێوەچوو.
لەم چالاکییەدا چەندین ڕادیۆگرافی پرۆفیشناڵەوە ، کە چالاکانە شانبەشانی قوتابیان بەشداربوون. زانکۆی لوبنانی فەڕەنسی بڕوانامەی بەشداری بەخشی بە سەرجەم بەشداربووان و ڕێزلێنانیان لە دڵسۆزییان بۆ فێربوون و پەرەپێدانی پیشەیی
ئەم وۆرکشۆپە ئەزموونێکی پەروەردەیی بەنرخی پێشکەش کرد کە بە شێوەیەکی کاریگەر بۆشایی نێوان زانیاری تیۆری ئەکادیمی و بەکارهێنانی پراکتیکی کلینیکی لە بواری رادیۆگرافی تراوما پڕکردەوە.
