Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions

This goal focuses on promoting peaceful and inclusive societies, providing access to justice for all and building effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels. People everywhere should be free of fear from all forms of violence and feel safe as they go about their lives whatever their ethnicity, faith or sexual orientation. The people of Kurdistan Region of Iraq have faced injustices and systematic violence by the former regime of Iraq. Therefore, the Lebanese French University found it necessary to promote justice for the local communities and supports public participation in all sectors of government and promote public awareness on the matters relating to peace and co-existence as multi-cultural, multi-religious society.
