Today, 17/10/2024, was the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. On this occasion, students from the Department of Health and Hospital Administration at the College of Administration and Economics organized a gathering with the participation of teachers, staff, and many students from the college. The purpose of this event was to provide lunch for a large group of workers and poor individuals, numbering around 250 people.
The goal of sharing this post is simply to encourage more of such initiatives in the future and to strengthen the spirit of solidarity within our society. We hope that in the upcoming new government cabinet, serious efforts will be made to reduce poverty and that Kurdistan will become a leading example in Iraq in addressing this issue — something that can only be achieved through the collective efforts of all sides.
