The social activity entitled “Solidarity for Rojava: A Call to Action” was successfully held as part of the humanitarian initiatives of the university, organized by the College of Engineering and Computer Science. The event aimed to support the resilient people of Rojava by raising awareness of the urgent humanitarian crisis and encouraging solidarity and collective action. Participants actively contributed through donations and engagement, reflecting strong humanitarian values and social responsibility within the university community. This meaningful activity demonstrated the college’s commitment to community service, compassion, and standing in solidarity with vulnerable communities during times of crisis.
As part of the activity “Solidarity for Rojava: A Call to Action,” the organizing team from the College of Engineering and Computer Science conducted an official visit to the Barzani Charity Foundation, where the collected donations were formally delivered to support humanitarian relief efforts for the people of Rojava. This visit represented a significant step in ensuring that the contributions reach trusted humanitarian channels for effective distribution.
