The session was led by Prof. Dr. Hamdiya Mirkhan Ahmed, Dean of the College of Health Sciences at Hawler Medical University. The presenter emphasized the critical role of education and early intervention in promoting reproductive wellbeing and preventing long-term health complications.
Throughout the workshop, participants were introduced to:
• Common reproductive health concerns and their clinical presentations
• Preventive strategies including safe sex practices and routine screenings
• The importance of informed consent and patient-centered care
• Psychological and social dimensions of reproductive health, especially in vulnerable populations
Real-life clinical scenarios were shared to illustrate patient care pathways and the challenges faced in delivering comprehensive reproductive services. The presenters also highlighted the need for culturally sensitive approaches and community engagement to reduce stigma and improve health outcomes.
The workshop concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where attendees actively participated, reflecting strong interest and engagement with the topic.
