  • The title of this research represents the challenges student face for understanding the text. The psychological problems student face when studying literature and the obstacles students have for not choosing their fields of interest. Intrinsically demotivating elements for students. Anyone occasionally has trouble with their studies, but overcoming those challenges. These difficulties are a necessary component of learning.Critical thinking abilities are arguably the most important quality to evaluate. Personal prejudices can make it difficult to think critically because they make it difficult to understand the texts.The problems can be connectedto various conditions, psychological problems like procrastination, perfectionism,low self-esteem, test anxiety and stress are common among college students. A student may lack the confidence to fully immerse themselves in a new learning environment due to fears, motivation, and other feelings. Physical factors like workplace distractions.The methodology of this research is qualitative. The data collection was from books, papers, researches, websites, and articles. It can be concluded that lack of confidence, inadequate vocabulary power hesitancy, nervousness when speaking, fear of making mistakes, the lifestyle, personality traits, and stress levels are psychological influences. Family issues or expectations, depression ٫ a lack of ambition or energy, a sense of helplessness are also challenges for studying literature.
