A study on the Components of Sentence in English Grammar

This research paper sheds the light on the component of sentences in English grammar, the
research investigates all the parts of sentences in English grammar including; subject,
predicate, auxiliary verbs, primary verbs, completers, transitive verbs, objective, and all
the types of clauses in English grammar. The aim of research is for the learners to learn
all the components of English grammar as the component of communication in any
language is a sentence. The finding of research shows that syntax is a major component
of English grammar, syntax gives power to words to carry the meaning in the form of
sentences. Both morphology and syntax are related to each other. Morphology deals with
internal structure of words whereas Syntax deals with the structure of sentences. As words
are important for a language, sentences are also important. Sentence structure is vital in
both speaking and writing. Even a word is not properly used in a sentence, the whole
sentence will be wrong. Learning how to write and speak good sentences is the key to
