Training Course “General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)”

The College of Engineering and Computer Science, Department of information Technology holed an eight- Sessions training course from November 2, 2022, to November 24, 2022, with two sessions per week (Wednesday and Thursday from 12:00 P.m. to 3:00 P.m.). Assistant Lecturer Farah Qasim Ahmed presented this training course.

The Department of Information Technology held the final session of this training course on Thursday, November 24, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. Farah Qasim Ahmed, Assistant Lecturer, led this session. Twenty trainees were present, the majority of whom were faculty members from the College of Engineering and Computer Science. By the end of the last session, the Participants was able to demonstrate that you thoroughly understand the gap between the General Data Protection Regulation and the current organizational processes, including privacy policies, procedures, working instructions, consent forms, data protection impact assessments, in order to associate organizations in the adoption process to the new regulation.

PhD candidate in Information Technology – School of Computing (SOC) – Awang Had Salleh Graduate School (AHSGS) – Universiti Utara Malaysia / Sintok – Kedah – Malaysia since January 2019.
