On 26/11/2025, as part of promoting cultural engagement and strengthening the values of social responsibility, students from the Departments of Business Administration and Accounting and Finance at the College of Administration and Economics organized a Kurdish cultural event that showcased the richness of Kurdish heritage and identity. The event was supervised by Ms. Ronyaz Hayyas.
The cultural bazaar was inaugurated by the University President, Professor Dr. Abdulqader Naqshbandi, in the presence of the Assistant President of the University. They commended this student initiative, which successfully combines both cultural and humanitarian dimensions.
The activity featured the display and sale of a variety of traditional Kurdish foods that reflect the authenticity of Kurdish culture, alongside traditional games and handmade Kurdish products prepared by the students. The event took place in an atmosphere that embodied a strong spirit of cooperation and teamwork. It aimed to highlight Kurdish cultural heritage, encourage student initiative, and utilize student activities in the service of the community. At the conclusion of the event, all proceeds were donated to a nursing home, in a humanitarian gesture that reflects the students’ strong sense of social responsibility and their commitment to supporting those in need.
We also extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to the Head of the Accounting Department for his constructive cooperation and to the Head of the Business Administration Department for his support, which contributed significantly to the success of this activity.
The college reaffirms its commitment to supporting such initiatives that integrate cultural and humanitarian values and contribute to preparing students with strong social awareness and an active spirit of volunteerism.
