Aga Ismael Abdalla is an Assistant Lecturer at the Lebanese French University, specializing in English Language Teaching (ELT), education, pedagogy, and technology-enhanced learning. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Education from Koya University and a Master’s degree in ELT from the University of Warsaw, Poland. Currently, he is teaching Educational Administration, Measurement and Evaluation, and Phonology at our university.
His teaching career began in 2017, when he initiated voluntary English classes at the Cultural Center in his hometown of Ranya, Kurdistan. Since then, he has taught students of various ages and proficiency levels, combining pedagogical expertise with a passion for learner-centered and technology-integrated instruction. In addition to teaching, Abdalla has worked extensively as a translator, contributing to the translation and review of more than 300 TED Talks.
His current research interests include English Language Teaching, Content and Language Integrated Learning in Higher Education, educational pedagogy, and the role of technology and AI in enhancing teaching and learning practices.
