The Faculty of Medical Laboratory Sciences at LFU will host a one-day training course titled “Introduction to DNA Extraction: Theory and Hands-on Practice” on Sunday, 26 July 2026, beginning at 9:00 AM in Room 2101, Second Floor, LFU Campus.
The course is designed to provide participants with both the theoretical foundation and practical laboratory skills required for successful DNA extraction. Under the guidance of A.L. Ali A. Mohammed, attendees will gain hands-on experience with laboratory techniques while learning the key factors that influence DNA yield, purity, and quality. The training will also cover best practices to ensure reliable and reproducible results.
The program is open to Medical Laboratory Science students, researchers, laboratory technicians, and anyone interested in molecular biology techniques.
