The LFU campus offers a comprehensive and modern learning environment, fully equipped with advanced facilities and high-quality amenities. All lecture halls and classrooms are well-designed, fully air-conditioned, and supported by reliable high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity, ensuring a comfortable and productive academic experience. Dedicated student lounges further enhance the campus atmosphere, providing spaces for relaxation and collaboration.

The university comprises six main academic buildings designed to support a wide range of teaching and learning activities. It features a well-equipped library with up-to-date academic resources, along with the Center of Pedagogy and Academic Development, which includes modern, fully equipped classrooms. The campus also offers essential student services such as photocopying and stationery, and hosts the Qalai Zanist Scientific Journal. Additionally, a large conference hall with a capacity of up to 400 participants serves as a venue for seminars, conferences, and academic events.

The administrative infrastructure of the university is equally robust, encompassing key offices such as the Board of Trustees, the Presidency Office, and the Vice President for Academic and Scientific Affairs. Supporting departments include the Administration Department, Accounting Office, Registry, Admission Unit, Directorate of Quality Assurance, Legal Affairs Unit, the Media and Marketing Unit. The campus also houses a fully equipped Sports Center, featuring a football stadium, basketball court, and volleyball court, as well as a mosque, collectively contributing to the physical well-being and spiritual needs of the university community. The university also provides dedicated car parking facilities for both students and academic staff.

LFU further provides a dedicated girls’ dormitory with 24/7 support services for students coming from outside Erbil. Additionally, the university owns fully furnished residential buildings for international and non-local academic staff, ensuring a comfortable and supportive living environment.
