National Workshop(Introduction to Quantum Information & Communication)

The Department of Information Technology, College of Engineering and Computer Science will conduct national workshop entitled “Quantum Information & Communication ”, will be presented by ( Asst. Lect. Mateen Naser) at 1:00 PM in Lebanese French University, lab. (Cisco).

Workshop Description:

Quantum Information Processing and Communication is a vigorously active cross-disciplinary field drawing upon theoretical and experimental physics, computer science, engineering, mathematics, and material science. This technology forms one of the cornerstones of the information society and our global economy, which heavily rely on secure methods for transferring and distributing information quickly. To meet the ever-increasing demands for speed and security in encryption and communication methods, continuous improvements are being made, and there is an ongoing effort to further develop corresponding technologies.
