Directorate of Administration

Overview

The Directorate of Administration constitutes a fundamental component of the University’s governance and operational structure. It is responsible for ensuring the efficient management, coordination, and supervision of administrative services in alignment with institutional policies, regulatory frameworks, and strategic objectives.

Through structured planning, systematic oversight, and continuous improvement, the Directorate safeguards operational integrity, promotes institutional discipline, and supports the University’s academic mission by providing a stable, organized, and service-oriented administrative environment.

Organizational Units & Responsibilities

1. Maintenance Unit

Responsible for preserving the University’s physical infrastructure and ensuring the proper functioning of facilities and equipment through preventive and corrective maintenance.

2. Services Unit

Oversees general operational services including logistical coordination, facility support, campus cleanliness, and transportation arrangements.

3. Reception Office

The primary point of contact for visitors and students; managing inquiries and facilitating official communications with professionalism.

4. Accommodation Unit

Manages university housing and residential services, ensuring safe and organized living environments for staff and students.

5. Stores / Warehouse Unit

Responsible for inventory control, asset documentation, and materials distribution in accordance with institutional policies.
