Module Overview

The EduPreneurship module aims to address specific needs and challenges relating to sustainable development and establish entrepreneurial competencies. Subsequently provide their students with appropriate tools to develop their entrepreneurship skills through authentic learnings. This module also aims to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, attitude, autonomy and responsibility required to tackle opportunities and generate novel ideas to create value trainees and enhance their problem-solving skills. The module helps to fill the gap between education and the community needs, involving stakeholders in the learning process.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this module, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the concept of entrepreneurship in education and its significance in personal and professional development
  • Familiarize with key forces and challenges and guide participants to design projects through internship and apprenticeship programs
  • Cultivate entrepreneurial characteristics through entrepreneurial orientations such as opportunities optimization, risk-taking, intellectual capital, action orientation, innovation, and creativity
  • Apply entrepreneurship methodologies to enhance teaching practices and foster entrepreneurial skills among students
  • Design market-oriented educational approaches to address contemporary challenges and meet industry and community needs
  • Utilize the Business Model Canvas and develop comprehensive business proposals tailored to educational contexts
  • Engage in critical, creative, and strategic thinking to identify and capitalize on entrepreneurial opportunities within education
  • Demonstrate entrepreneurial leadership skills to inspire innovation and drive positive change in educational environments
  • Enhance communication and interpersonal skills necessary for effective collaboration and networking in educational and entrepreneurial settings
