Syllabus (Course Book)

At Lebanese French University, all academic staff, including full-time and part-time instructors, are required to develop a comprehensive course syllabus (Course Book) and upload it to the UMS system for student access. The syllabus is made available to students through their UMS accounts at the beginning of each semester. It outlines essential course information, including intended learning outcomes, weekly course plans, prescribed and supplementary learning resources, assessment methods and deadlines, grading criteria, and instructor contact details. The course syllabus serves as an official academic document that ensures transparency, supports effective teaching and learning, and enables students to clearly understand course requirements and institutional academic policies.
