On February 6, 2025, the Department of Computer Engineering in the College of Engineering and Computer Science held a national workshop entitled: FANET Drone’s Data Applications which was presented by Asst. Lect. Areen Jamal.
FANET (Flying Ad-hoc Network) is a type of wireless communication network that enables direct communication between flying devices, such as drones, without relying on a fixed infrastructure. It is dynamic and supports real-time data exchange among aerial vehicles.
Why FANET?
•It enables data sharing and communication even in remote or dynamic environments.
•It is the best choice for situations that need real-time data sharing, like emergency response, or monitoring the environment.
