National Workshop: “Themes and Symbols in the novel ‘The Scarlet Letter”

On 16.12.2024 Monday at 1:00 pm College of Engineering and Computer Science , Department of Computer Network held a national workshop entitled as (Themes and Symbols in the novel ‘The Scarlet Letter’) which was presented by Mrs. Monika Sharma. In this workshop, participants learned about the important ideas and symbols in Nathaniel Hawthorne’s novel The Scarlet Letter. They explored themes like sin, guilt, and forgiveness, and how these ideas are connected to human life and society. They also studied symbols like the scarlet letter, Pearl, and the scaffold, understanding their deeper meanings. The workshop helped participants see how themes and symbols work together to make the story powerful and meaningful. By the end, they understood the novel’s message and how it connects to real life. The output was a better understanding of the novel’s ideas and its use of symbols to tell a deeper story.
