College of Engineering and Computer Science , department of Architectural Engineering on 16.12.2024 Monday at 1:00 pm conducted a national workshop entitled as “Elevation of The Buildings” presented by Lecturer Mohammed Younis. Elevation is termed as the projection of any vertical exterior facade/surface of a building (front, back, and sides) or its drawing. It is a two-dimensional drawing drawn on a vertical plane. Elevation or Façade shows always the external cover of the building .Also it explains the construction material that used to cover the structure Of the building . Elevations show the shapes and sizes of the outside doors and windows . They shows their positions in the walls .
To have complete architectural drawing set architects will draw many elevations like :
1- FRONT ELEVATION .
2- BACK ELEVATION .
3- LEFT SIDE ELEVATION .
4- RIGHT SIDE ELEVATION .
