On Thursday, April 25, 2024, students from the Accounting and Finance Department in the Faculty of Administration and Economics took part in the prestigious “Competitive Projects” event. Under the direction of Ms. Roniyaz Hayas Mahmoud, ten creative projects that sought to innovate in the Kurdistan region were presented.
This initiative’s main goal was to stimulate students’ creativity by encouraging them to come up with innovative ideas that might be implemented in real life and could even lead to the creation of their own businesses after graduation. Furthermore, these novel ideas will be advantageous to the larger community.
The head of the accounting department created a committee to carefully review the submissions in accordance with predetermined standards. After going through a thorough evaluation procedure, Project Zheen Tea came out on top, followed by Project Rahmo Fashion in second and Project Cosmetic in third.
This event demonstrates the students’ inventiveness and spirit of entrepreneurship while also highlighting the university’s dedication to fostering quality and innovation within the academic community.”
