The Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, Information Technology Department, organized a sports activity with the “Chess Tournament”. The activity took place on January 25, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. The activity began with four players set up as follows:
Match #1:
- Asst. Prof. Ashish Sharma v Research Assistant. Idrees Mohammed.
- Asst. Lecture. Nichrevan Asaad vs. Asst. Lecture. Ahmed Salahuddin
Match #2:
- The winner of the 1st team played against the winner of the 2nd team.
- The loser of the 1st team played against the loser of the 2nd team.
The winner of the 1st team in Match #2 was determined as 1st place of tournament and the loser as 2nd place, while the winner of the 2nd team in Match #2 was determined as 3rd place and the loser as 4th place. At the end of the tournament, the tournament certificate was presented to the Asst. Lecture. Nichrevan Asaad.
