On Monday, April 25, 2022, the Department of Law held the national workshop entitled ” Understanding the Journalism law in Kurdistan region” The workshop’s first session was presented by Mr. Wzhar Fahri lecturer at law and international relations College at Lebanese French University. Lecturer wzhar, at the beginning of the workshop, addressed the importance of the topic and why we should care about it. In the second session, Azad Hamadamin, head of the Kurdistan journalists syndicate, he provided vital information on the journalism law in Kurdistan region, and he illustrated on obligation of the journalisms in their work. He talked about the impact of the social media on the evolution of journalism. At the end of the workshop, several question been answerd by Azad Hamadamin.

The following recommendation was given to solve the higher educational problem:
1- Vital information was presented during the workshop
2- Emphasizing on the importance of the journalism law in Kurdistan region
