Training Course Entitled: ” Arduino for Robotics”

The Information Technology Department of the College of Engineering and Computer Science conducted a six-session training course entitled (Arduino for Robotics), from Janauary 22, 2024 to Janauary 31 2024. The course consisted of three sessions per week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) from 1:00 am to 3:00 pm. Assistant Lecturer Rawshan Nuree was the facilitator of this training.
On Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 1:00 p.m., the last session of the training was conducted by Assistant Lecturer Rawshan Nuree. The session was attended by twenty trainees, most of whom were faculty members from the College of Engineering and Computer Science and other colleges of the Lebanese French University.

At the end of the last session, participants had acquired the following knowledge:

  • Introduction to using microcontrollers with a focus on Arduino.
  • Knowledge of the various parts required to assemble a robot or any other type of digital machine in general.
  • A coding overview and instructions for programming a robot.
  • Basic programming tasks include controlling LEDs, buzzers, motors, and even building robots from scratch.
  • Inspire participants to innovate while giving them a very clear understanding of machines and robots.

About Instructor:

She has a BSc. Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Kurdistan – Hawler (UKH) in 2019 and MSc. Degree in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Kurdistan – Hawler (UKH) in 2021. She is interested in the research areas of robotics and IoT.
