  • This case study sheds light on a comparative study between phrases and clause in English
    grammar. The study brought attention to the several kinds of phrases and clauses that exist, each
    with its own characteristics and functions. The study highlights how crucial it is to recognize and
    employ terms and clauses in writing effectively. Failing to do so may cause misunderstanding
    and ambiguity, making it difficult for readers to comprehend the sentence's intended meaning.
    As a result, in order to effectively communicate their message, authors must carefully analyse
    the function of phrases and clauses in their sentences and employ them wisely. Besides, the paper
    discusses various types of clauses and sentences in details and showing their interrelationship.
    The findings show that, clauses and phrases are both essential parts of sentences, their form and
    purpose are different. While clauses have a subject and a predicate and can stand alone as a
    sentence, phrases are collections of words that work as a single cohesive entity. Thus, to compose
    sentences that are understandable and powerful, it is essential to be familiar with the traits and
    purposes of these many kinds of phrases and clauses.
