On Wednesday, April 12, 2023. at the Lebanese French University in the College of Law and International Relations, The International Relations department arranged the workshop. The presenters of the workshop were Lecturer Hawar Muhamad and Lecturer Wzhar Fahri. The workshop was entitled “The Adjustment Law in the Iraqi Elections, the Process and Changes.”During the workshop, the presenters discussed all aspects in detail, including the rules that have been changed and the political background of these changes. Moreover, the future of Iraq was also discussed under the same law. At the end, many questions were asked by the instructors who attended the workshop, leading to a warm discussion between the presenters and attendees.
The outcome of the workshop
- explanation from the presenters on the importance of adjusting the law in Iraqi elections
- providing a road-map for resolving upcoming tensions between political parties in Iraq.
