On Tuesday 5/1/2023, the Department of Business Administration collaborated with the Department of Accounting and Finance to deliver a Six weeks comprehensive training program on “Soft Skills” at the seminar hall of Lebanese French University. The program spanned six sessions, each focusing on two different soft skills.
The training attracted a diverse group of attendees, including university staff and outsiders, and it was a huge success. The program covered a range of essential soft skills that are crucial for success in any job or career. Each session was led by experts in the field, who shared their insights and experiences on the topic.
The first session kicked off with Asst. Lect. Khowanas Saeed Qader sharing insights on “Strong Work Ethic and Positive Attitude,” while Asst. Prof. Dr. Nabaz Nawzad Abdullah enlightened the participants on “Interpersonal Skills.” in the second session, As the program progressed, Asst. Lect. Khowanas Saeed Qader also touched on “Time Management,” and Asst. Prof. Dr. Nabaz Nawzad Abdullah presented on “Stress Management.”
In the third session, Asst. Lect. Khowanas Saeed Qader dove into “Flexibility and Adaptability,” and Asst. Prof. Dr. Nabaz Nawzad Abdullah spoke about “Critical, Creative, and Strategic Thinking.” The fourth session witnessed Asst. Lect. Chiman Ahmed and Asst. Lect. Taha Sheikh Omer sharing their expertise on “Persuasion and Message Delivery” and “Self-Confidence,” respectively.
As the program approached its end, Asst. Lect. Ahmed Jawhar and Asst. Lect. Shirin Jamal took over the fifth session to talk about “Collaboration and Teamwork” and “Leadership,” respectively. Finally, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nabaz Nawzad Abdullah and Asst. Lect. Khowanas Saeed Qader delivered the last session, enlightening the participants on “Conflict Resolution & Problem-solving” and “Self-Awareness.”
The attendees were able to gain valuable knowledge and skills in each of these areas, which are essential for success in any job or career. At the conclusion of the training, certificates were presented to both the presenters and participants, marking the end of a successful training program.
