On Thursday 2nd of February 2023, department of law held a national workshop on ‘Women and the legislations on the prevention of domestic violence in Kurdistan Region’. The workshop was presented by Asst.Prof.Dr. Rozhan Dizayee, Dean of College of Law and International Relations and Lecturer Suzan Sabri. The importance of the workshop was to emphasise the rules and regulations available to prevent and protect such offences from occurring and to discuss the legal progress on the matter. The workshop was enriched by the presence of academic staff members from the colleges and departments at the university. comments and recommendation were provided by the attendees.
Workshop Outcome:
