Department of Arabic Language and Translation Organized a Chess Tournament for the College of Education and Languages Staff Members

The Department of Arabic Language and Translation at the College of Education and Languages organized a three-day chess tournament that started on 24/10/2022 and ended on 31/10/2022 between the professors of the Department of Arabic Language and Translation, the Department of Kurdish Language, the Department of English and the Department of General Education.

Where 8 players from these sections participated and matches were played between four groups, each group containing only two players.

On the first day, the players were eliminated to only 4 players out of 8 players.

On the second day, the match took place between only two cherubs, each crippling with only two players.

On the third day, the competition was conducted through only one group, which included only two players.

The final result of the championship was the victory of Mamosta Muhammad Kamal from the Department of General Education. He was honored with an appreciation award by the Dean of the College of Education and Languages and the Head of the Department of Arabic Language and Translation. Mamousta Miram Salem from the Department of English was also honored for winning the second place in the tournament.
