An international workshop “Managing Multicultural Teams”

On Monday, 23/10/2022, the department of Business Administration arranged an international workshop entitled “Managing Multicultural Teams” for the university faculty members. Assist Lecturer, Khowanas Saeed Qader introduced the presenters, and then Dr. Narentheren Kaliappen briefed the “Managing Multicultural Teams”. Dr. Narentheren also explained the benefits of mixed multicultural teams and focused on some cases to clarify the topics.

The third part of the workshop was presented by Assist Lecturer, Taha Omar Lateef, who discussed more deeply about the topics and focused on the strategies to deal with multicultural teams.

3- Challenges faced by multicultural teams 

4- Strategies to deal with multicultural teams

ABOUT THE PRESENTERS

Taha Omar Lateef is the Lecturer at the College of Administration and Economics. He obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Salaheddin University, Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Lebanese French University. 

Dr. Narentheren Kaliappen is a Senior Lecturer at the School of International Studies, College of Law, Government & International Studies, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). He obtained a Ph.D. (Management), Master of Business Administration (MBA), and Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) from UUM.
