On Thursday, October 6, 2022, the Department of English Language in College of Education and Languages held a national workshop entitled “The guidelines set by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research/KRG for conducting academic activities by university lecturers.” The workshop’s first session was presented by Assistant Lecturer, Bestoon Saleh Ali. At the beginning of the workshop, he addressed the structure of quality assurance in College of Education and languages and the whole staff in the Lebanese French University; then, he outlined the regulations issued to each private university by the Ministry of Higher Education. In the second session, Assistant Lecturer Nian Saeed Abdullah presented significant details concerning the academic activities and what are the procedures for conducting each activity from issuing a decree to performing the activity.
