International Workshop – International Law and Constitutional Interpretations

On Thursday 15th of September 2022, the Law department held an international workshop to present and discuss trending topics on the Iraqi constitution and international law in the case of Kurdistan. There were many issues put on the table for open discussions such as the interpretation of constitutional regulations and international treaties, Kurdish issues in the jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights, the legal status of international relations of KRI within the international legal framework, and women’s right as part of the human rights issues.
