From Sunday, June 26, 2021, till Tuesday, June 28, 2021, the Arabic Language and Translation Department, conducted a community activity under the title (reinforcement lessons for the Arabic language) which was provided by Assistant Professor Dr. Nada Sami Nasser for the students enrolled in the Erbil Youth Center, especially for middle and high school students. In the first day, Dr. Nada Sami focused on Arabic grammar for middle school students. In the second day, some important topics in Arabic grammar and literature were focused on for the 12th grade literature branch. In the last day, some specific topics in Arabic grammar and literature were chosen to cover for the 12th grade science branch.
Community Service Outcomes:
The following recommendations were made for students who suffer from Arabic language subject:
1- Strengthening the social and service relations between the Department of Arabic Language and Translation by making their own group to communicate with the Arabic language teacher in order to overcome the difficulties they face in studying the Arabic language.
2- Introducing students to the correct way of reading and understanding the Arabic language lesson easily.
3- It was agreed with the Erbil Youth Center on more courses and reinforcement lessons at the beginning of the next academic year.
