On Monday 7 March 2022, the Department of Tourism Management organized a seminar to one of the successful alumni of Lebanese French University, Mr. Mohammed Al-Bawi. graduated in 2021 and currently working at Erbil Rotana, a luxury 5-stars hotel in Erbil. The main objective of this event was to transfer his experience to the current students and expanding their knowledge based on real life experience. The current students and alumni from Tourism Management department have attended this interactive seminar. Al-Bawi mainly talked about hotel industry in Kurdistan Region and how his practical education at LFU offered him an opportunity to work in his field. At the end of the seminar, participants asked him multiple questions on how to prepare for the labor market. Department of Tourism Management provides on-job training and practical sessions to every student and focuses on real life experience to facilitate employment opportunities to its graduates.
