On Thursday, 24 Feb 2022, the Department of Tourism Management at the College of Administration and Economics organized the panel entitled “Preparation and Opportunities” in Coordination with Rwanga Foundation. The president of Lebanese French University, Dr. Ameen Salih Mohammed, and the Deputy President Assist. Prof. Dr. Omar Nooradini attended the panel. At the beginning of the workshop Hoshyar Abdulrahman, the head of the tourism management department, welcomed the guests and participants, then introduced the panelists to the audience. The first speaker, Saman Omar, the program manager at Rwanga Foundation, talked about the labor market and the needed skills to tackle possible opportunities for new graduates. Then, Mr.Zhewar Shaswar from Rwanga foundation explained the CV. writing and showing a few samples of a good CV. The third panelist, Sanaria Adnan from Lebanese French University, talked about the steps of job application and explained to the participants how the hiring process looks like. The last panelist mainly stressed the importance of volunteering and enriching personal profile. Many students and lecturers attended the panel, questions were asked, and students were excited for the guidance presented. The main objective of this panel was to prepare students of Lebanese French University to the Labor Market and facilitate the recruitment process. The workshop was conducted in reference to decree no. TU-15 on 17/1/2022. At the Conference Venue at Lebanese French University where 30 lecturers from different departments attended.
