The college of engineering and Computer Science/Department of Information Technology conducted a national workshop titled “Reviewing the e-government implementation in the Kurdistan Region” on February 7th and 8th, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Assistant lecturer Haza Saeed and Assistant lecturer Ara Zozan presented the workshop. The workshop gives an overview of e-government in general, including its benefits and features. Then, evaluate how e-government is being implemented in the Kurdistan Region and assess how far it has progressed. There were 15 participants at this workshop.
Workshop Outcomes:
The workshop gave an introduction to e-government in general with its advantages and functionalities. Then, review the implementation of e-government in the Kurdistan Region and evaluate the progress of the e-government. and it was explain what is e-government, the benefits of the e-government and what are the e-projects in the Kurdistan Region.

- Hazha Saeed Yahia
She received a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from the University of Kurdistan – Hawler in 2010 and a master’s degree in Computer System Engineering from the University of Kurdistan – Hawler in 2016. She is now a Ph.D. candidate in Information and Communication Technologies at Duhok Polytechnic University. She is currently working as an assistant lecturer at the Department of Information Technology, Faculty of Computer Engineering and Science, Lebanese French University. Her research areas include; e-services and e-governments, artificial intelligence, and wireless sensor networks.
- Ara Zozan Miran
A Lecturer in the College of Engineering and Computer Science, I have completed my Bachelor and Master Degree at the University of Kurdistan- Hawler (UKH) Software Engineering Department. My Current and Specific Specialization is on Networking and Communication.
