The college of Engineering and Computer Science/Department of Computer Engineering held an national workshop entitled ” Software Testing in IoT Applications ” on Monday, November 1st, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The presenters, Assistant Lecturer Teeba Ismail , this workshop will develop a QA strategy using soft computing methods to optimize the considered cases for the test to be used with the QA models for IoT applications. There were 15 trainees in attendance, the most of them were College of Engineering and Computer Science faculty members.
Workshop Outcomes:
Testing IoT systems is not an easy task, and competence in this area matters. As an IoT software company, Relevant has this expertise and can test usability, security, performance, connectivity, and compatibility. This workshop gave an overview of the testing methodology of the internet of things now and what are the models of testing they used.

Presenter Information:
TEEBA ISMAIL KH. got. B.S. Degree in optical electronics from Al-Nahrain University, Baghdad, Iraq, 2004, and M.S. Degree in Laser and optoelectronics from Al-Nahrain University, Baghdad, Iraq, 2007. She got doctoral degree in computer and control engineer from Electrical Engineering department at Salahaldine University, Erbil, Iraq, 2022. She is a lecturer at Lebanese French University Faculty of Engineering Erbil, Iraq. Her research involves model-based testing and IoT software systems quality assurance.
