The college of Engineering and Computer Science/Department of Computer Network held a National Workshop on October 5&6th, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., ” The 3D Facemask Recognition: Minimization for Spreading COVID-19 and Enhance Security”. Assistant Prof. Ashish Sharma presented the first session and Assist. Lect. Miss. Ara Miran presented the other session . There were 15 participants in attendance, the most of them were faculty members from the College of Engineering and Computer Science.
Workshop Outcomes:
This workshop proposed a Facemask Detection model for solving the problem of manual care. This proposed model is a combination of most trending technologies such as AI, DL, and Image-processing. In the future, describe this newly implemented model by appending Gaussian noise with images and make the system more reliable for actual use.

Currently, I am working with Lebanese French University, Erbil, Kurdistan, Iraq, as an Assistant Professor, Department of Information Technology, College of Engineering & Computer Science. I have full Thirteen Years (13 Years) of Experience in Industry, Academics, Research, and Training. My area of interest in research work: Education Improvement Research, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and the Internet of Things. I have presented and attended various Training, Workshops, Conferences, and Seminars to enhance or share my knowledge/ideas. I have completed a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) from UP Technical University, Lucknow, UP, India, and completed M. Tech. (CSE) from Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi, Delhi, India. So far, I have published more than ten (10) Research Articles, a Book Chapter, and a Patent in various reputed International Journals.

A Lecturer in the College of Engineering and Computer Science, I have completed my Bachelor and Master Degree at the University of Kurdistan- Hawler (UKH) Software Engineering Department. My Current and Specific Specialization is on Networking and Communication.
