The Department of Business Administration Conducted International Workshop

On Sunday, October 3, 2021, the Department of Business Administration held the international workshop entitled “Gift of Soft Skills”- A Need of the Hour. The workshop’s first session was presented by Dr. Sohail Imran Khan, Faculty of Department of Business Administration of Administration and Economics College at Lebanese French University. Dr. Khan at the beginning of the workshop addressed the meaning of Soft skills and why it is important for teachers. Then, he also explained the ways to develop soft skills. Dr. Khan further added the teacher’s role in shaping students’ soft skills and winded his talk by discussing the importance of soft skills for students. In the second session, Dr. Vishakha Dhawangale, Assistant Professor at City Premier College, India provided very useful information on the Importance of Soft Skills. She had also discussed the various soft skills which can be used in the daily lives of teachers and students.

International Workshop Outcome

The following were the brief outcome of the workshop:

  1. Elaborated understanding of Soft Skills and when and how to use it.
  2. Improved performance by a teacher in a class by using soft skills

  1. Dr. Sohail Imran Khan holds PhD. in Business Administration at RTM Nagpur University, India. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor, at the Department of Business Administration of Administration and Economics College at Lebanese French University.

2. Dr. Vishakha Dhawangale holds PhD. in Business Administration at RTM Nagpur University, India. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at City Premier College, Nagpur, India.
