On January 29, 2026, the Department of Law at the College of Law and International Relations — Lebanese French University — organised a workshop titled “The Role of the Court in Reducing Crime in Society.” Dr. Shayi Salar Othman presented the session. It featured the honourable guest (Judge Zrar Mahmoud Muradkhan), Vice President of the Erbil Court of Appeals and Chief Judge of the Erbil Criminal Court/3. The workshop aimed to provide a legal, academic, and practical analysis of the subject to benefit students and promote legal awareness
