The Quality Assurance (QA) Directorate at the Lebanese French University (LFU) conducts Students’ Feedback Surveys to evaluate both academic quality and services provided by the university. These surveys are designed in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001 for Quality Management, ensuring reliability and accountability in gathering and acting on student feedback.
Students’ Feedback Survey on Academic Performance
The QA Directorate gathers student feedback on academic matters through two primary methods:
Online Surveys:
An optional online survey is conducted mid-semester to identify any immediate concerns students may have regarding courses. The results of this survey are shared with the respective course instructor and department for timely corrective actions.
A mandatory online survey is conducted at the end of each semester. Students are required to complete this survey to access their final exam results. This ensures comprehensive feedback from all students.
Survey Focus Areas:
The questions in the academic feedback surveys are designed to assess the following key aspects:
1. Teaching Content (TC): Evaluating the relevance, structure, and clarity of course materials.
2. Teaching Methods (TM): Assessing the instructional strategies and their effectiveness in engaging students.
3. Teaching Effect (TE): Measuring the overall impact of teaching on student understanding and learning outcomes.
