Lebanese French University has the privilege to have the approval to own its pedagogy centre at the university. As the only private university in Erbil to operate pedagogical training courses, we are pleased to welcome a diverse range of interested participants to be the beneficiaries of the pedagogical training course that is running on a national framework and approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The courses are taught in collaboration with all public and private universities in Kurdistan.
The centre is open to all academics and professionals interested in teaching in higher education. The aim of the centre is to lead as a modern centre for pedagogical development. It further aims to build a higher education base by developing world-class teachers, education professionals; and enhancing of their teaching excellence, their teaching skills, and their career potential. The centre has direct link with the International Professional Teacher Education Unit at HAMK University of Applied Science in Finland. The centre has proudly opened Four successful rounds since 2019 with over 330 graduates. The course is currently running its Fifth round with 70 participants.
