On Monday 10th March 2025, the department of Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) at the college of Health Sciences hosted a national workshop entitled ” Generation Z” which was presented by .
Lecturer Hemin Khalid from college of Pharmacy – HMU and Asst. Lec. Rizhin Nuree Othman.
The workshop started by introducing the audience with the generations and characteristics of each generation, then focus got on Generation Z, the presenter talked about this generation who are called digital natives.
They’ve grown up with smartphones, social media and constant connectivity, which has greatly influenced their worldview which makes them mature, self directed and self educated.
The workshop was concluded with many advantages and disadvantages of this generation and how parents and how educational staff can be dealing with them.
