On February 11, 2025, the Department of Medical Radiology Imging at the College of Health Science hosted a workshop titled “Green Nanotechnology: From the Lab to a Sustainable Future.”
The workshop aimed to introduce participants to the fundamental principles of nanotechnology, with a special focus on green nanotechnology. It emphasized the synergy between innovation and sustainability, ensuring that advancements in nanotechnology contribute to both human well-being and environmental preservation. Participants gained insights into simple and eco-friendly methods for synthesizing different nanoparticles, equipping them with the knowledge to drive future progress and enhance the quality of life through sustainable scientific advancements.
The workshop was led by Assistant Lecturer Banaz S. Haji from Lebanese French University (LFU) and Prof. Dr. Azeez A. Barzinjy from Soran University. The event included discussions and useful information, helping faculty members and participants understand the importance of green nanotechnology in building a sustainable future.
