On January 28, 2025, the College of Law and International Relations hosted a workshop titled “Different Aspects of the Iraqi Commercial Agency Regulation Law and the Applicable Law in the Kurdistan Region.” The workshop was led by Lecturer Hawre nuraddin Saber and Assist Lec. Miran Memand Bayez, faculty members from the Department of Law.
The session focused on the key differences between the commercial agency laws in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, particularly concerning the various types of power of agents, the process of obtaining a power of agent license, and the procedures for cancelling such a license. The importance of this legislation was also highlighted.
At the conclusion of the workshop, participants shared their insights and feedback on various aspects of the law.
