On January 21,2025 The department of Medical Laboratory Science at the college of Health Sciences held a workshop entitled “How to Publish Papers in High Impact Journals” presented by the dean of the college Assist. Prof. Dr. Bashdar Mahmoud Hussein.
The workshop covered many aspects of publishing in high impact journals including tips & tricks the attendant were introduced to impact factor journals and what makes a journal impact factor, how to calculate the impact factor and the types of impact factor as well as where to find gaps in research and how to conduct a research that has the possibility to be published in high impact journals. at the end of the workshop some tools and software were introduced to have an effective writing style and correct grammar.
