“Blood Donation in Volunteer World Day” National Workshop

On Monday, December 02, 2024, the department of Medical Laboratory Science at the college of Health Sciences held a national workshop entitled “Blood Donation in Volunteer World Day”.

The first session was presented by A.L. Nashmil Hussein Rasool, who is a lecturer at the Medical Laboratory Sciences Department of the Lebanese French University (LFU). She presented the background of the importance of knowledge in “Blood Donation: A Biostatistical Perspective, Essential Requirements, and a Comprehensive Donor’s Guide”.

The second session was presented by Professor Dr. Abdulqader Aziz Al-Naqshbandi the president of Lebanese French University (LFU). He presented the background of provided vital information on “The Lifeline of Health: Understanding Blood Composition and the Importance of Blood Donation”.

The goal is to inform, engage, and encourage academic staff, students, and faculty members to participate in the blood donation campaign and make a meaningful contribution to the community.
