Sport Activity “Chess Tournament”

The College of Engineering and Computer Science, Department of Information Technology organized a sport activity entitled as “Chess Tournament”. The activity took place on 18/11/2024 at 1:00 pm. The activity began with four players set up as:

Match #1:

1. Asst. Prof. Ashish Sharma vs. Asst. Lect. Rawshan Nuree
2. Asst. Lect. Nechirvan Asaad vs. Asst. Lect. Halmat Ayub

Match #2:

1. The winner of 1^st team played against the winner of the 2^nd team
2. The loser of the 1^st team played against the loser of the 2^nd team

The winner of the 1st team in Match #2 was determined as 1^st place of tournament and the loser as 2^nd place, while the winner of the 2^nd team in Match #2 was determined as 3^rd place and the loser as 4^th place. At the end of the tournament, the tournament certificate was presented to Asst. Prof. Ashish Sharma
